Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has joined a growing group of high-profile voices forecasting a meteoric rise for Bitcoin, claiming it could hit $1 million per coin by 2030. Speaking on the Cheeky Pint podcast, Armstrong stated, "I think we’ll see $1 million per bitcoin by 2030," a rare public price prediction from the otherwise reserved executive.
Armstrong is not alone. Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood have both shared similar long-term bullish targets. In fact, Ark Invest recently revised its outlook, suggesting Bitcoin could reach as high as $3.8 million by the end of the decade, citing a massive wave of institutional adoption as the main driver.
Currently, Bitcoin is trading around $114,000, after peaking at $124,000 just last week—an all-time high. This year alone, it has gained 22%, strengthening its narrative as a hedge against inflation and an alternative to traditional safe-haven assets like gold.
Other experts have offered more near-term projections. SkyBridge Capital’s Anthony Scaramucci predicts BTC could climb to $180,000–$200,000 within the next five months, showing just how bullish market sentiment is becoming.
While price predictions are inherently speculative, the convergence of such confident forecasts from major players suggests Bitcoin is entering a new phase of adoption and legitimacy, especially among institutions. The path to $1 million is far from guaranteed, but it is now being seriously considered by some of crypto’s most influential figures.
