U.S.-based crypto exchange Coinbase has announced the addition of Aster (ASTER) to its listing evaluation roadmap. In its official statement on November 7, Coinbase confirmed that Aster is undergoing technical and legal review before a possible listing. The move aligns with Coinbase’s ongoing goal to offer users broader and more diverse investment options.
The exchange had previously shared plans to expand its ecosystem by supporting more altcoins. Within this framework, Aster is now seen as a potential candidate for future listing.
In a company blog post, Coinbase reiterated its transparent listing policy:
“Our goal is to list every asset that meets our legal, compliance, and technical security standards. These criteria do not consider a project’s market cap or popularity.”
Coinbase emphasized its focus on projects operating on different networks and those offering unique technical innovations, signaling a continued commitment to ecosystem diversity and technological advancement in future listings.
